Our approach
How Vikiline thinks about compatibility
At 25, people fall in love over a shared playlist. At 55, the math is different - and richer. You are looking for a partner whose values, lifestyle, and life chapter line up with yours. That is what Vikiline matches on.
Our compatibility model weighs five dimensions equally: core values (honesty, loyalty, faith if it matters to you), lifestyle rhythm (early bird or night owl, homebody or traveler), family situation (children, grandchildren, willingness to blend), health and energy (active hiker or quiet reader), and future plans (where you want to be in five years). We do not weight photos heavily, and we do not match on income at all.
"I have been on three dating sites since my divorce. Vikiline is the only one that asked me what mattered to me, not what I looked like in a swimsuit."
- Greg, 56, contractor, Pittsburgh, PA
The result is a smaller, slower flow of introductions - typically five to seven women a day, hand-picked, with a short note explaining why we think you might get along. Members consistently tell us this feels more like a friend introducing them at a dinner party than a slot machine. That is the goal.
What we ask, in plain English
Our compatibility questionnaire takes about ten minutes, spread across your first week if you want. Questions are warm and conversational - what a good Sunday looks like for you, what you learned from your last relationship, what you are hoping for now. No multiple-choice personality tricks. Just honest prompts that help us understand who you are.
You can read more about the full process on our how it works page, or jump straight to real member stories if you want to see how it has played out for others.
